*1 Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1999)
6.50 Rating 136 min It is a distant galaxy eons before the gestation of the planet Earth. Advancements in technology and science have allowed the evolution of millions of worlds that are otherwise in many respects still primitive. These worlds are somewhat loosely allied into a galactic Republic, whose capital world is the planet Coruscant, a planetary city. Upholding order for the Republic are the Jedi, an order of warriors endowed with near-super power derived from self-generated fields of energy known collectively as the Force. Within the Republic, dissident worlds have banded into an alliance known as the Trade Federation, and the Trade Federation is locked in a dispute with the peaceful world of Naboo. Two Jedi Knights, Qui-Gon Jinn and his youthful apprentice, Obi-Wan Kenobi, have been sent to Naboo to help mediate an end to the dispute, but Nute Gunray, an alien viceroy, orders them to be killed, and the two Jedi discover upon their escape that the Trade Federation will launch an invasion of Naboo. With the help of a well-meaning but hopelessly subliterate alien native of Naboo, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan land on Naboo to rescue her ruler, Queen Amidala, a ruler whose rule is a mixture of monarchy and republican democracy. Escaping Naboo, they are attacked by a Federation baseship and are forced to land on the distant planet Tatooine, where in seeking parts to complete their journey to Coruscant they encounter a young boy, Anakin Skywalker, a slave who possesses a gift for the savagely dangerous sport of podracing - a gift that Qui-Gon deduces is part of a genetic makeup perfect for the Jedi Order. Anakin eventually joins with Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, and in the process attracts the attention of one of Queen Amidala's handmaidens with a dramatic secret, and all reach Coruscant, but endless and pointless debate within the Republic's Senate leave them no choice but to strike out on their own to liberate Naboo, a task made all the more difficult because a traitor within Coruscant has at his command a dissident Jedi warrior who seeks the death of Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan.

Star Wars Episode 1: Cloak Of Deception The first of the revamped ‘9000 series’, Cloak of Deception delivers a re-crafted perspective on Star Wars Episode I in keeping with the drive of the original trilogy of films. Unnecessary ‘galaxy shrinking’ cameos from classic characters have been cut down or removed. Anakin is depicted as a more mature and capable figure an audience can identify with. Jar Jar is recast as an everyman caught up in events outside his control who does his part in the fight for freedom, rather than a traitorous clown. Released: 2021-09-06 Genre: Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi & Fantasy Casts: Ewan McGregor, Liam Neeson, Natalie Portman, Jake Lloyd, Ian McDiarmid Duration: 110 min Country: United States of America Production: Lucasfilm

6.60 Rating 142 min Ten years after the invasion of Naboo, the Galactic Republic is facing a Separatist movement and the former queen and now Senator Padmé Amidala travels to Coruscant to vote on a project to create an army to help the Jedi to protect the Republic. Upon arrival, she escapes from an attempt to kill her, and Obi-Wan Kenobi and his Padawan Anakin Skywalker are assigned to protect her. They chase the shape-shifter Zam Wessell but she is killed by a poisoned dart before revealing who hired her. The Jedi Council assigns Obi-Wan Kenobi to discover who has tried to kill Amidala and Anakin to protect her in Naboo. Obi-Wan discovers that the dart is from the planet Kamino, and he heads to the remote planet. He finds an army of clones that has been under production for years for the Republic and that the bounty hunter Jango Fett was the matrix for the clones. Meanwhile Anakin and Amidala fall in love with each other, and he has nightmarish visions of his mother. They travel to his home planet, Tatooine, to see his mother, and he discovers that she has been abducted by Tusken Raiders. Anakin finds his mother dying, and he kills all the Tusken tribe, including the women and children. Obi-Wan follows Jango Fett to the planet Geonosis where he discovers who is behind the Separatist movement. He transmits his discoveries to Anakin since he cannot reach the Jedi Council. *3 Star Wars Episode III: Revenge the Sith (2005)
7.60 Rating 140 min The chancellor is kidnapped so Anakin and obi wan go to rescue him and kill Count Dooku, the Sith Lord apprentice, which angers Obi Wan because it is not the Jedi way. Anakin finds out Padmé is pregnant, which makes him happy. Anakin has a vision of Padmé dying in childbirth, so he goes to the Chancellor for advice. Papa Palps, AKA The Senate, tells Anakin the tragedy of Darth Plageuis the Wise and tells Anakin that the dark side of the force is the pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural, meaning bringing someone back from the dead, essentially granting immortality. This conversation tempts Anakin to the dark side, while also making him suspicious of the chancellor being Darth Sidious. The Senate(Papa Palps) makes Anakin his personal representative on the Jedi Council. However, unlike everyone else on the council, he was not a Jedi Master yet, he was but a lowly Jedi Knight. This angers Anakin. The Jedi Council assigns Anakin to spy on Papa Palps. This was due to the chancellor being SUS. Obi Wan goes to the planet Utapau to kill General Grievous, which he thinks may end the Clone Wars. He succeeds in doing so. The Council sends Master Windu and some other random Jedi to murder Palps. They all die in the process. This turns Anakin to the dark side, starting his transformation to Darth Vader. Meanwhile, Master Yoda is fighting the battle droids on Kashyyk. While Yoda is doing this, Papa Palps executes Order 66, which was an order to kill all Jedi for treason. All but a few of the Jedi survive. Obi Wan meets Anakin on the planet Mustafar, where they have one final dual, Master and Apprentice. (This was at least the final dual Anakin had as Anakin Skywalker) Obi Wan wins, using his famous technique, the high ground. He thinks Anakin dies from this. After this Padmé dies in childbirth, apparently from a broken heart or something, which is too cheesy for Star Wars. Anyways, Anakin is given his famous Darth Vader suit by Papa Palps to keep him alive, Obi Wan is sent to look after Luke Skywalker on Tatooine, and Bail Organa adopts Leia Skywalker. Yoda also goes to hide out on Dagobah, and Obi Wan gives up his Jedi ways... for now... The End! *8 Star Wars Episode VI: Return Of The Jedi (1983)
8.30 Rating 131 min The Empire is more than halfway through construction of a new Death Star, almost twice as big, but more than twice as powerful. When completed, it will spell certain doom for Luke Skywalker and the rebels. Han Solo is a prisoner of crime lord Jabba the Hutt, and Princess Leia soon finds herself in the gangster's hands. Luke Skywalker, aided by C-3PO and R2-D2, makes his way into Jabba's palace, hoping to secure his friends' freedom. But Jabba has no intention of doing so, and tries to kill them all. After escaping from Jabba and the sands of Tatooine, they regroup with the rebel fleet, which is massing for an attack against the new satellite battle station at Endor. Lando Calrissian is pressed into action to lead the rebel fighter attack, while Han is put in charge of a group of soldiers to take out the shield generator protecting the Death Star. However, Luke Skywalker surrenders to Darth Vader's soldiers on Endor, and is taken in front of Vader's Master, Emperor Palpatine, on the Death Star for final corruption to the Dark Side of the Force. The fleet of Imperial Star Destroyers ambushes the rebels, cutting them off. Worse, the new Death Star begins turning its giant laser on the rebel carriers. It appears that nothing will stop the Empire's triumph, unless things start to change quickly.
