ScreenHead Thread Integrity Policy
There are two distinctions related to Thread Integrity:
- Staff Generated and Maintained Resource Threads
- Member Generated Threads
1. Staff Generated and Maintained Resource Threads
- Information/Reference is the intent of the thread
- Links and sources are added as a secondary 'feature' only
- Threads are not open for general discussion
- Thread integrity is maintained by staff
- Members are encouraged to report dead pictures, links and inaccurate descriptions
- Threads do not get deleted, only updated or fixed.
- Threads may be moved and rewritten as inherent subject matter changes (ex: A single movie becomes part of a set)
- Resource threads are normally indexed (indexes will reflect changes as needed)
2. Member Generated Threads
- Members maintain their own threads/posts by use of the edit feature
- Staff may edit member threads and posts in accordance with Proboards/ScreenHead policies (member will be notified by PM)
- Sources (links and/or embeds) integrity is the responsibility of the member
- Content integrity is the responsibility of the member
- All threads/posts must be within Proboards and ScreenHead policy
- Threads dependent upon a specific source which is no longer active will be deleted
- Deletion does NOT affect post count.
- Members will be notified (by PM) when their thread has been deleted
- Duplicate threads will be deleted without notification
- Common subject threads will be merged with or without notification
ScreenHead Staff Will Maintain Order
- Board Spamming will not be tolerated. Spammers will be banned immediately without notice.
- Hostile Threads are a violation of Proboards Policy and will not be tolerated. Violators will be warned once to cease and desist.
- Stalking will not be tolerated
- Fandom discussions can often get heated and passionate. Stay civil and mature. Every member is entitled to their own opinion, respect that.
- Threads within a section must be on-topic. Off-topic threads will be moved or deleted. Members may or may not be notified.
ScreenHead staff are not the police or your parents. Not only are we busy maintaining ScreenHead for you, we have no desire to babysit you.
If you become an issue, its easier and quicker to just get rid of you than to cater to the problem.
Most members will never have a problem.
