We are happy you found us. Much of ScreenHead is available for viewing as a Guest but to get the most of it, we recommend you join us and become a ScreenHead Member. Signing Up is pretty simple, just follow the on-screen instructions
(remember to check your spam filter and allow Proboards and ScreenHead).

Hostility, open discrimination, spamming, flooding, trolling disrespectful behavior, posting porn, violating Proboards or ScreenHead policies or
becoming a 'problem member' will get you banned, your IP address banned and your account deleted. Be Nice!
ScreenHead is an English language community. Some of our resources may not be in English but most offer subtitles and Closed Captions in their players. All discussion posts need to be in English tho. If You use a translator - plug it back into the translator and see if it actually says what you need it to say. Gibberish posts will be deleted.
When choosing a screenname try to refrain from using your real name. Create a moniker just for you. It makes you unique. When choosing a password, I recommend keeping it simple and something easy to associate to your screenname. We do not store passwords. If you forget it, you can't log in.
The Email address you use will be associated with the screenname you choose. Try to refrain from using your main email address (most people have multiple email addresses).
Always have spyware and virus protection. Most links open in a new tab/window.

To Join or Log-In to ScreenHead
This thread is to assist you in the process of Joining (New Member) or Logging Into (Existing Member)

Existing Members of Proboards:- You can use your existing Proboards account (eMail Address) to create a ScreenHead screen name.
- On the 1st page of the Registration enter an existing Proboards eMail address.
- On the 2nd page of the Registration choose a password and profile name as you did for your other Proboards accounts (It can be different).
- On the 3rd page of the Registration choose a 'user name' (screen name) you wish to have associated with your activity.
- Complete the Captcha screen.
- Check your eMail for the Activation Key and Activate this account.
- Log-IN using your Proboards eMail and new profile name as you would with any of your other Proboards forums.
~ Your unique ScreenHead log-in will only work with the Proboards forums in which that eMail address is active. New Members of Proboards and FreeForums:- Have an active eMail account. Most people have more than 1 eMail account, 1 for personal and others for memberships. The eMail account you use must be active so it is best practice to sign into that eMail account prior to starting the registration process so you know you have the right account and know the correct password for it. Proboards will send your activation key to that eMail account.

- On the ScreenHead Header (The Top of the Page), click the word "Register", the Proboards Registration screen will load.

This 1st page of the Proboards Registration asks you for an eMail address. This is the eMail address which will be associated with Proboards/ScreenHead eMail activity.
You can set ScreenHead eMail Preferences in your Profile once you have successfully Logged In as a Member of ScreenHead. Be sure to remember which eMail address you use here because it will be needed to Log In from now on.

- On page 2 of the registration process you will see 4 blank fields.
The 1st is where it asks you the eMail address again (You may use a different eMail address if you want but it is best to keep it straight-forward and simple). Again, this is the eMail address which will associate with ScreenHead.
The 2nd and 3rd are where you Create your ScreenHead password. You can use any combination of letters, numbers or symbols you want but BOTH password entries must match each other.
DO NOT use your eMail account's password!
As a BEST PRACTICE, Keep it simple to remember. Proboards/ScreenHead is not a High Risk site (meaning~ you are not required to enter your personal information or personal account numbers). ScreenHead is 100% free to use. There are no Paid Upgrades.
Proboards and ScreenHead have no control over 3rd party links. You MUST use your eMail address and Password to log into ScreenHead.
The 4th box is where you enter the Name you want associated with your ScreenHead accounts Profile.
This name can be Anything you want, including your real first name. HOWEVER. it is best not to use your Real FULL NAME or the name associated with your eMail address because it will be viewable by any member who views your profile.
The Two final entries are drop-down selections which are pretty straight forward.
The birthdate is a requirement because you must be at least 13 years old to join ScreenHead/Proboards. Any date is fine as long as it makes you older than 13 years.
The Gender is Male/Female/No Preference, you must choose one to continue. Birth dates and Genders can be viewable or not by selections in your profile once you are a member.
Yes, you can turn that info OFF. - Page 3 is where you set your Forum Screen Name (User Name).
Forum User names must not contain spaces {invalid}, An invalid user name will not allow the registration process to continue.

You can be creative with your user name and if you don't like it later, you can change it in your profile settings. Most people like to use names which reflect their passions.
It is best practice for you to have only ONE ScreenHead account (easier to keep track of your own activity) but I personally don't care how many ScreenHead accounts you have. You will need different eMail accounts and have to repeat the registration process for each.
YOU MUST agree to Proboards TOS, there's a link to view the TOS plus a link at the bottom of each page to the TOS.

You MUST check the BOX. YOU MUST agree to Proboards Privacy Policy, there is a link to read the PPP if you want plus there is a link to the PPP at the bottom of every page.

- Page 4 is the Captcha Box. Just follow the instructions in the Captcha to continue.

- Page 5 is the ACTIVATION screen.
The eMail you used will show up in the top box. Proboards will send an activation eMail to that account with the Activation Key you need for the bottom box.
Make sure you check your eMail, if you don't see it, check your SPAM filter and allow Proboards and ScreenHead.
Proboards and ScreenHead do not send many eMails out. From time to time, I may send out a ScreenHead Global Email to all ScreenHead members.
In your Profile, you can set preferences for which eMail notifications you do or do not want to get.
There's also a send frequency preference so you only get notifications instant, smart, daily, weekly or never.
Its best practice to allow PM notifications instantly, especially if you are messaging with other members.
CLICK ACTIVATE at the Bottom to ACTIVATE your ScreenHead Account.
Once your account is activated you are done with the registration process and logging in becomes a simple click or two.
On the GUEST screen click "LOG IN" and follow the screens.
You may check the block to be remembered and as long as you do not clear your cookies, everytime you load a ScreenHead page you will be automatically logged in.
You will STAY logged in until you click the "Log Out". Once you are a member of ScreenHead you will have more choices available to you. You may View the Member List by selecting Members on the Header Index.
Your new screen name will appear in this list with your join date and other info.
This screen is a simple way to access other member's profiles for sending Private Messages (PMs).
Other Tutorials will explain these member-viewed features in much more depth.
